Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) III looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for the delivery of patient care.
  • The nurse is guided by professional nursing standards.
  • The RN may direct activities of other nursing department personnel.

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Current licensure in the State of South Dakota as a Registered Nurse or multi-state compact RN license and must be maintained in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire and must be maintained.
  • ACLS is recommended.
  • PALS is highly recommended.
  • Attends all mandatory hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
  • Participates in educational opportunities and updates/maintains current professional clinical competency related to areas of responsibilities.

Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
    • 7:00 am - 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
    • Every other weekend and holiday
    • Occasional call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $31.00 - $46.50 per hour
