LocationNHQPurposeThis role will be responsible for developing all key metric analysis, materials (presentations with recommendations), and reports as well as participate in all prep meetings with agency and intra-HMA departments in preparation for the formal executive governance meetings. This position requires strong organizational skills, data and analytical expertise, and strategic instincts. The individual must also be able to work independently as well as work across multiple divisions within HMA and be able to present clearly and confidently in front of Marketing leadership.

A deep understanding of marketing metrics and KPIs is a must - not only understanding past performance, but also understanding the why's behind the trends to provide recommendations for strategies to achieve business objectives moving forward.Major ResponsibilitiesMarketing Performance Update: lead with marketing team and IUS to track media investment, Share of Search, digital KPIs (VLP, HVA, Lead) against monthly sales objectives. The update identifies monthly pacing of Marketing KPIs relative to sales objective for review with Executive reviews.

This also includes the development of monthly KPI targets within the Demand Flow' document in coordinating with internal marketing stakeholders and GSMG.Marketing Performance Tracker: lead with PLM, Sales, Incentives, and IUS to determine opportunity markets based on trending sales/share, Share of Search, and dealer stock/inventory pipeline. Information is shared with key marketing team members for execution support and enterprise-wide for visibility.

Major Responsibilities (continued)PM2 & KPDs/MTP development: comprehensive coordination with marketing team members, IUS, HMNA, and GSMG to develop materials, while reviewing for strategic rationale for successful executive updates/presentation.Budget planning support: working closely with marketing financial management team and marketing leadership team to review the budget to support for the brand/sales plans.Governance: OCM support - working with marketing team/IUS to develop monthly presentation in support of governance meetings.

PRM support: working with marketing team/IUS to develop monthly presentation in support of governance meetings; derivative information/slides produced to support Daily Sales Call, 1stLook, 1.5Look, and 2ndLook.Develop analysis that identifies sales conversion opportunities. Liaison with the IUS Data Science team and external 3rd vendors: Cox Live Market, etc.

Leadership and development of business, strategic, and tactical planning.Lead contact for HMA marketing and trade associations: ANA & MMA. To identify latest trends in marketing/technology for adoption and application for performance enhancements to optimize marketing investments (media/technology, production, team development, etc.).

AuthoritySignature authority on expense reports and time-off reports for direct reports.Expected to help identify and solve issues related to HMA and division.Conduct hiring interviews, make hiring recommendations, extend approved hiring offers.

Address and counsel direct reports on performance issues and goals direction.Education~ Must be a high school graduate~ Bachelor's degree preferredRelated ExperienceAt least 10 years related marketing experience.At least 5 years of marketing data analytic experience.

Three or more years of supervisory experience is preferred. Skills/KnowledgeExcellent analytical skills - use both quantitative and qualitative data to create a broad, dynamic view of the brand, target customer(s), advertising effectiveness, website, and experiential activities. Effective knowledge of automotive strategy and market research activities.

Proficient in excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of management levels, both inside and outside of HMA.Proven interpersonal, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Familiarity with basic budget and accounting functions. Thorough computer skills and effective time management skills.Ability to effectively manage others and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.CertificationN/A.
