This requires an experienced professional with a background in software quality assurance and system validation. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:Own end-to-end system validation of vehicle softwareIdentify, document, and manage System test & validation requirements at the Vehicle levelDrive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation, development, systems engineering, and product teamsCreate & amend manual/automated test cases to perform System ValidationTroubleshoot systems/sub-systems/components using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters as well as tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.Identify gaps and areas for improvements and drive to a solution Mentor and guide junior team membersQualifications:8+ years of experience in Software System Validation5+ years of Automotive testing experience includes infotainment software validation4+ years of QA/Test Lead experience for a feature or system2+ years of automation experience in automating application testing and/or tool developmentExperience in analyzing the logs to root cause the issueExperience with Vector and/or Peak CAN based toolsPreferred:Experience with languages like Python, C, C+ is a plusExperience task and requirements management tools like JIRA and JAMAEducation:BS minimum in an Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
