Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-usWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic candidate to join our team as a Knowledge Management (KM) Communication & Adoption Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with business teams and driving adoption of KM strategies across the organization.

You will lead communication efforts to raise awareness and understanding of the benefits and importance of knowledge sharing, and align KM initiatives with business priorities and goals. You will work closely with IT and other key stakeholders to ensure high levels of user engagement and satisfaction, and offer expert guidance on best practices for KM processes. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be responsible for managing expectations and keeping teams informed about KM initiatives and opportunities for participation.

You will develop and maintain a consistent, effective brand and messaging for KM, and create engaging and informative training and awareness programs using various forms of media. You will lead communication initiatives for KM-related leadership teams and other key stakeholders, and collaborate with IT teams to coordinate change management, communications, and training activities. ?Position Responsibilities:Develops effective relationships with the business to implement a knowledge management communication strategy to promote adoption across the organizationPlans and leads communication initiatives to strengthen awareness of knowledge sharing benefits, behaviors, processes, procedures, and tool enhancementsSupports management priorities and expectations for knowledge sharing through communication, engagement/participation, and reporting on progress and measuresWorks with key IT stakeholders, and other business area, to ensure a high level of user satisfaction and engagementProvides advice and guidance on KM process and best practicesManages expectations for knowledge sharing by communicating about KM initiatives, progress, best practices, and opportunities for participation across the organizationSustains the KM brand and themes with consistent, fit-for-purpose messaging across a variety of media outlets. Administers and supports reward, recognition, and/or gamification programs where appropriateMaintains strong business acumen while maintaining objectivity in workLeads the communication needs of KM-related leadership teams, business-unit groups, individual networks, and other stakeholders as neededProvides communication support to the core KM team for both project-based and day-today activitiesEngages in and supports KM-related training and awareness activities online, in print, and face-to-face where needed. Leads and/or participates in the planning of KM meetings, and special eventsCollaborates with IT Tech Adoption and Productivity to coordinate broader change, communications, and training activities for ITRequirements:Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build networks within and outside BMSCreative, proactive, independent worker with a strong sense of urgency with problem-solving skills (thinks outside the box)Acute attention to detail, organized and deadline orientedStrong facilitator, change agent, clear and confident communicator comfortable working collaboratively on a global teamAble to think strategically in terms of culture, behavior, business processes, and toolsBachelor's Degree preferred5+ years of experience in writing communications, creating and delivering training for complex information.
