PSGA team members enable value-driven decisions, aid Global Program Teams (GPTs) and decision makers in strategic framing to quantify risk profiles and generate valuation analyses of possible development paths.

PSGA team members empower high-quality decisions, derive insights into the tradeoffs among options, and clearly communicate findings to GPTs and program leadership to impact enterprise level decision making and maximize pipeline value. Role Responsibilities:Individual will apply expertise, risk assessment, and financial analysis to drive the organization toward high-quality investment decisions at the asset level using quantitative models and processes, conducting workshops and facilitating discussions as a strategic partner to the Global Program Team (GPT).Provide timely updates on projects and TA at internal PSGA meetings and use project management tools to track progress and achievements.

Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with key stakeholders influencing decisions and prioritizing work.Partnering within in developing methodologies and approaches for contextualizing TA-level portfolio decisions (eg, portfolio prioritization, value baselining, etc.). Supporting ad hoc requests and portfolio level activities as needed.

Note: Associate Director level candidates are expected to function as PSGA leads within programs whereas Senior Managers may partner with PSGA Therapeutic Area (TA) leads in conducting analyses. AD level candidates are generally expected to cover multiple teams and serve as a resource for others in the department.Qualifications:An undergraduate degree in science, engineering, economics, or other quantitative discipline, OR an undergraduate degree in a non-quantitative discipline, combined with significant quantitative experience.

A graduate degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline (including an MBA) preferred.Senior manager requires 3 years of post-degree related work experience OR 2 years related experience with advanced degree;Associate director requires 5 years post-degree related experience OR 4 years with advanced degree.Expertise in spreadsheet modeling and analysis.

Experience with forecasting, financial modeling, and/or valuation. Preferred Skills: Significant training or experience in management science or decision analysis to support decision making under uncertainty.Thorough knowledge of the drug development process.
