As the finance lead for the Risk and Identity Solutions Product team, the Senior Director will collaborate with key business executives and operational teams to develop financial strategies and analytics to enable sound business decision making. The position involves driving important insights with senior finance leaders and executive management and require strong influence management skills. The Senior Director will manage and mentor the team to provide strong business partnership.

The ideal candidate will have a deep background in financial and general business analysis, preferably with a public company, and demonstrated experience managing teams and collaborating with various functions.Essential FunctionsStrategic Advice and PartnershipsCultivate effective partnerships with senior executives to develop develop long term financial plansAcquire and maintain a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues of the Risk and Identity Solutions business unit, globallyDevelop and present strategic insights about the businessAlign functional goals and strategies to broader global initiativesLead performance diagnostics, budgeting, forecasting and management reportingBecome a trusted business partner to all business units, executive management and sales teamsFinancial ManagementLead preparation of the annual business plan and forecasts, driving analysis across a globally matrixed organizationInterpret and present key findings for senior leadership audienceEnable management by providing timely, accurate informationUnderstand business drivers and recommend measures to further improve results and drive improvements to provide more insightsEstablish efficient processes for monthly and quarterly performance reporting for optimal resultProject ManagementSpearhead ad-hoc projects to improve the overall performance of the team and organization(s)Decision support to senior finance leadership on investment or project decisions as well as strategic organizational and functional developmentsProvide thought leadership and guidance over core processes building efficiencies and streamlining deliverablesPartner with Financial Systems team to develop and execute roadmap to improve and automate revenue and driver analysisBusiness Engagement:Integration of finance into the business, attend team meetings or understanding of the businessTailored, effective presentations, analysis and dialogue with each business partnerTimely, meaningful views on their businessDialogue around budget and spend to optimize budget and investments and return-on-investment disciplineRobust toolkit to help manage the business and enable management decision makingPeople Management:Attract, recruit and train top talent into the Finance organizationMentor and manage a team of high performing finance resources by helping to create a center of excellence and instilling best practices across financeInfluence, motivate and collaborate with key business partners and stakeholdersThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.

Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (eg Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (eg Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience Highly analytical background and extensive experience with financial and operating systems strongly preferred Experience leading a Financial Planning & Analysis (or similar) team with a thorough understanding of financial accounting and management reporting Proactive, strategic thinker with strong project management skills Superior problem-solving skills with strong executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior executives and external business partners Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities Ability to make decisions with limited guidance, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results Client focused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple stakeholders Able to work in a matrix reporting environmentAdditional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
