Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us.Summary:The Director, Global Cell Therapy, Strategy & Operations will act as a key business partner supporting the Global CT Franchise leadership team to enhance strategic decision-making across a dynamic, complex portfolio and ensure achievement of business objectives to drive business performance. The role will report to the Global Cell Therapy Franchise Head of Strategy and Operations (CT S&O).

The Director will be responsible for collaborating across a broad matrix team to drive key initiatives with senior management engagement, lead knowledge exchange and collaboration between CT Franchise, Cell Therapy Operations (CTO) and Cell Therapy Development (CTD), markets and other functions to impact business performance and streamline operations. This individual will also focus on developing innovative solutions to simplify and track critical milestones, support the portfolio governance process and key deliverables across global CT Franchise, proactively identify opportunities, and ensure those solutions are incorporated.Key ResponsibilitiesAccountable for the strategic planning & execution, metrics & performance measurement, governance, quality & continuous improvement and operational support for the CT Franchise teamDrive preparation for key senior management reviews and presentations (Governance, Functional planning)Lead cross functional teams to deliver critical and complex initiatives with senior management engagement across the Cell Therapy FranchiseSupport the Gene, Delivery and Editing Advisory Committee (GDE AC) to ensure strategy clarity and cross-functional alignment on development and manufacturing of current and next-gen vectorDrive ad-hoc strategic and/or operational projects in partnership with Global Product and Supply, Global Drug Development, Commercial, and other groups to develop, gain approval, and execute on plansIdentify project risks with input from the functions, and support resolving project issuesSupport Head CT S&O in planning and executing critical business initiatives and driving innovation and change both organizationally and culturallyIdentify areas of synergy, best practice, and opportunity for improvement across CT Franchise and CT S&O and implement solutions accordinglyCo-manage the Cell Therapy Leadership Team (CT LT) agendas, minutes, action items and performance dashboardManage the CT Issue Management and Communication Strategy ForumServes as a member of sub-teams to assure that CT Franchise initiatives are completed on timeSupport the preparation of strategic documents and presentations for senior management reviewsPosition could include significant participation in development of Project Management tools, templates, processes, working across various functionsQualifications & Experience:BA/BS required.

MBA, PharmD, or other graduate degree strongly preferred8-10 years combined experience across related disciplines, which can include Research & Development, Global Product and Supply, Marketing, Sales, Access, Finance and MedicalStrong knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry; possesses a global understanding of end-to-end drug development, manufacturing, and commercialization processes; relevant experience in Cell Therapy is preferableExperience working cross-functionally at senior management level and ability to direct/guide complex business and enterprise-wide decision-making at leadership team and aboveDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and design, manage or implement multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong diagnostic and strategic thinking skills and demonstrated ability to contribute to shaping strategy and translating to executionResults driven, with excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skillsDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work with cross-functional, matrixed teams, maintaining strong relationships and influencing outcomesEffectively utilizes information technology systems and program management tools including systems (eg, PowerPoint, MS project, Excel)you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
