Develops, deploys, and manages world-class CI capabilities to deliver timely, relevant, strategic intelligence to cross-functional stakeholders encompassing.

This position reports to the Director, Commercialization CI.Key Responsibilities Develops and executes the CI vision and strategy for select disease areas within the BMS portfolio, in alignment with stakeholder priorities and strategic imperativesCore ActivitiesAssesses the competitive environment and emerging scientific data to inform R&D, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing and commercial strategies for BMS assetsConducts analyses and research based on Key Intelligence Topics/Questions while adhering to consistent and established standards; synthesize and distill insights to provide actionable recommendations to key stakeholders across functions and levels within the organizationImplements all elements of internal CI model based on consultative engagement with key stakeholders: managing external CI vendors/partners, internal intelligence networks, and leveraging relevant internal IT tools and platformsExecutes all projects within budget assigned, in a timely fashion, making tradeoffs as necessaryEnsures appropriate dissemination of, and access to, competitive intelligence so it may be fully leveraged to answer strategic questionsDemonstrates, and holds others accountable to, high standards of business integrityResponds to ad hoc key business questions with expert analysis and timely deliveryKey internal clients/customers: Commercial, Clinical Development, R&D, Manufacturing, MedicalQualificationsBA/BS required, MBA/PhD degree preferredA minimum of 3-5 years of competitive intelligence and/or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience is preferredExperience in hematology/oncology/cell therapy strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to quickly and independently build proficiency in new categories or therapeutic areasSolid business understanding of pharmaceutical drug development and commercialization pathwaysAbility to think strategically, synthesize and analyze across data sources and develop actionable recommendations that support decision-making with strong, detail-oriented oral/written communication skillsDemonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, creativity, strategic thinking, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environmentsProven ability to lead projects while effectively managing time and resourcesStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse teams across organizational lines and structures, to collaborate, manage expectations, and build consensus with colleagues in various geographies, roles, and hierarchical levelsExperience successfully supporting business decision making in a complex and highly dynamic corporate environmentFamiliarity with pharmaceutical related CI data sources is desirable (eg, Cortellis, commercially available clinical trial databases)you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
